Yarra and Darebin Councils are working together on a Heidelberg Rd Corridor Plan to cover their respective planning amendments to create a cohesive outcome for this major community activity zone and area of dynamic change.

Its a really significant change to an important corridor, and is covered by a network of processes and organisations.

In addition to discussions with APMAG, Kat has also consulted with SAFCA and AFADA who have also specifically called out building heights and setbacks along the corridor, and continued to object to the council height limits defined discretionary or voluntary, not mandatory and enforceable.
