Annual AGM

Each year, at our APMAG AGM, we give a quick overview of the year, and listen to what the community wants to focus on in the year ahead.

The APMAG 2020 AGM will be held online for around 15-20 minutes. The Presidents Report will be a brief talk, to bring together the past year’s news and achievements. We will also deliver on our office bearers/ finances report.

In past years we have had a donations jar by the door, to fund our (very lean) operating expenses. No jar this year, but if you’d like to donate again, find us on PayPal at paypal.me/APMAG2020.

+ Meet the Candidates

We will then host a Meet the Candidates session for the Yarra Local Council election.

Candidates will give a brief introduction to introduce themselves and what they think is most important, should they win office. We will moderate the session to keep it brief, so it will be a great opportunity to get a sense of the field ahead of your chance to vote.

We have invited four candidates to participate.

  • Stephen Jolly (independant),
  • Gabrielle de Vietri (Greens),
  • Karen Douglas (Labour) and
  • Jeremy Cowen (Reason Party).

Each Candidate will be offered 5 minutes to talk about their election platform and how it impacts on Alphington. Then the forum will be opened to questions from the chat function in Zoom and each Candidate will have 2 minutes to respond to that Question.

Meet online. Tickets are Free
