Excavation and hoarding changes have been happening on the site’s north western corner. This is where the Heidelberg Road Commercial area is due to be built – and the community is curious – Whats going on, when will community consultation begin, and how has the economic outlook impacted plans.

The current works  are to setup utilities, like underground power and phone lines, not building construction.

We don’t yet know when actual build starts.

We’ve prompted Yarra council to find out when community consultation will begin. It will depend on where progress is with the Minister for Planning on that section.
