As ever, parking and trucks remains a concern. APMAG is raising parking, both on a street by street level, and pushing Council to consider the challenge wholistically. If your letterbox is surveyed, please respond as local response is a big factor in decision making.

The team also told Glenville that new residents, who can’t yet be surveyed, often don’t realise there is no on-street parking in the new development. If they hope to park more than one vehicle, expectations need to be set in their marketing communications.

Coming up – Traffic & Trucks

Looking forward, in the next few months, roads in the development are going to be sealed. Sealing will help with drainage and stormwater management, which should help along the riverfront. But it also means asphalt trucks bringing in the new road layer.

APMAG raised the concerns found with past trucks – time of day, route planning and parking – should continue to be managed carefully.
